Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; Masters preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of IT experience within an ERP environment with three years supervisory experience or a comparable combination of education and experience
Demonstrated leadership and management style that motivates others and creates a collaborative work environment
Must be agile, responding quickly to trends, changes, and the needs of the organization and its constituents
Excellent communication style both verbal and written
Job Concepts
Responsible for leading the team responsible for administrative technology to achieve high levels of system availability, usability, security, and customer service
Foster innovation and execute prioritized initiatives
Establish metrics and assessments for strategic planning for managing effectiveness and for measuring impact
Provide leadership and guidance for the Banner ERP administrative suite, a multi-campus IP network, Teams Voice telephone system, campus video security system
Provide leadership and guidance related to the previous campus ERP, SCT Plus and the University Budget Development System, running on OpenVMS
Development and maintenance of an appropriate organizational structure that supports the needs of the institution
Establish unit goals, objectives, and operating procedures
Coordinate, develop, and execute an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan
Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in Information Technology Systems, including staffing, outsourcing, purchasing, and in-house development
Develop policies and procedures surrounding administrative systems and their respective data
Develop, track, and control an annual operating budget
Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry
Supervise staff in accordance with university personnel policies
Communicate proposed strategies via regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, department heads, and end users.
Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new solutions.
Ensure continuous delivery of services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of system performance
Responsible for the institution's overall cyber strategy
Perform all other duties as assigned
