Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant assists with financial and income tax statements, making sure that they comply with tax laws by filing their federal and state tax returns. If you are a deadline driven Tax Accountant with excellent attention to detail and highly organized, this may be the role for you!

What you get to do every day

• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns

• Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications

• Determine legal tax savings and generate ways to improve profits

• Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database

• Accurately assemble annual and quarterly tax reports

• Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations

  Requirements

• Demonstrated organizational skills

• Great attention to detail

• Must be a creative thinker and have strong problem-solving skills

• CPA or EA highly preferred

• 2+ years of public or corporate tax

• Strong time management skills preferred

• Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

• Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
