Location: Remote • Ideal Geo Location – within 90 minutes of Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland – Remote, with expectation of 50% travel to customer sites and CW sites.

Your Challenge:

As a Director of Business Development for the Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions Division, you will support across Business Units of Defense Solutions focusing on EU and International regions. You are empowered to evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint venture. Takes a strong focus on Airbus, CASA, Airbus Helicopter, Lufthansa Technik, Leonardo and Thales with a goal to establish senior executive engagement on behalf of the VP of BD, Sales & Marketing as well the SVP/GM of DS and the executive team of Curtiss Wright (COO/CEO). Focus on the deeper penetration of these accounts (in close coordination with EU Sales Teams) so as to provide top cover and strategic account focus to maximize CW content on opportunities in the Aerospace Manned and Unmanned Domains and, as appropriate, upon European Space Agencies and private space contractors (Leonardo, Thales etc.). Bridge between EU and US OEM BD to coordinate programs and partnerships which may have a tie back to US OEMs or DOD initiatives. You will also advice and counsel on partners, consultants, VARs in conjunction with Sr Director INTL BD & Sales.

Your Expertise:

• 15 years of past relative experience in business development with Defense and Aerospace OEMs who supply Radars, Aircraft Electronic Systems, Electronic Warfare or Mechanized Land Armored Vehicles - desired

• Desirable to hold or able to obtain UK or NATO security clearance.

• Ability to travel globally without restrictions up to 50% to customer sites and CW sites

• University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Business
