Description We are in need of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team, reviewing and approving various entries, managing internal and external audits, and ensuring state and federal income tax reporting is accurate. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will also be responsible for providing accurate income statements and maintaining consistent recruiting practices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the regional accounting team to ensure optimal performance

• Monitor and provide guidance to your team to ensure the highest level of quality

• Oversee all monthly close procedures including the recording and reporting of all accounting activities

• Review and approve various entries, monthly schedules, and spreadsheets for account reconciliations

• Manage all internal and external audit requests

• Review and post vendor invoices and payments and customer invoices and cash receipts

• Provide accurate, on-time income statements to General Managers at the brand level

• Ensure that state and federal income tax reporting is accurate and current

• Maintain consistent and streamlined recruiting practices for your region

• Use various accounting software systems including ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), and other Accounting Functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Skilled in using Great Plains (GPAC)

• Ability to handle various Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in Auditing practices

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to manage a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred

• Professional accounting certification such as CPA or CMA is an advantage.
