This position reports to Director of ComplianceYour role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and execute tests on different products in various testing laboratories using standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will work independently by applying established standards, and instruct or coach other professionals. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results. You will be mainly accountable for: *Leads certification activities and provides recommendations and updates to NEMA R&D and Product Management on application of standards and regulations related to industrial electrical motors. *Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into NEMA product development processes and roadmaps while ensuring that all NEMA products meet applicable global regulatory requirements and standards. *Prepares and submits regulatory filings, including applications, registrations, documentation, and notifications to regulatory authorities. *Works with agency partners (UL, CSA, IEC, etc.) to demonstrate compliance to applicable standards. The work model for the role is: Onsite - #LinkedinOnSite Qualifications for the role Bachelor\'s Degree with minimum of 8 years relevant work experience. Examples to include, working with product regulations and standards (UL, CSA, CI, IEEE, IEC, NEMA, DOE).
