Job Summary:

Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is hiring a Chief of Operations to support the Satellite Control Network Operations, Remote Site and Mission Partner Support (STORMS) contract at New Boston Space Force Station, NH. The Squadron Manager provides leadership for company personnel, briefings to customers, and ensures the site is staffed in accordance with approved manning directives and policies.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong focus in customer engagement, while ensuring all contractual matters at 23 SOPS location are addressed or presented to leadership.

• Provide remote site management functionality for all 23 SOPS locations.

• Management of Union personnel.

• Ensuring all operations tasks are conducted in accordance with approved directives.

• Writing and reviewing site operational instructions, ensuring compliance by employees.

• Interfacing with Akima Shared Services on employee issues; payroll, timekeeping, benefits, etc.

• Collecting and analyzing operational performance data; recommends process improvements.

• Ensuring mission success is maintained/improved with current/future satellite pass requirements.

• Enforcing standards and deploys company directed discipline practices when needed.

• Conducting and supervising employee technical training program in an on-the-job environment.

• Act as liason to government customer for all contract related matters.

• Performs other collateral duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least five (10) years Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) experience. In lieu of degree, four (4) years of additional related work experience will be considered.

• Must hold and maintain a current active TS/SCI clearance or have the ability to obtain.

• Experience managing in a CBA environment.

• Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to lead employees in a team environment.

• Experience interfacing with military personnel and government customers.

• Must be able to climb high ladders, work on elevated platforms and antennas.

• Must be able to perform strenuous physical work to include walking, lifting, pulling loads, bending, kneeling, sitting and reaching overhead.

• Must be able to read, write and clearly speak English.

• Position may require additional government certifications as necessary.

• Full time - Day shift, and as determined by Deputy Program Manager.
