Job Responsbitlies:

  • Daily Credit and Accounts Receivable Activity - Manage collection activities of direct reports including customer accounts, branch reporting, and customer credit reviews Assist in the development of strong relationships with key customers. Assist in conference calls with customers and internal management. Review and approve adjustments to customer accounts. Review and approve customer refunds.

  • Customer Collection Activities - Place calls to assure that assigned accounts are kept in a current status. Maintain current collection and follow up notes. Follow up in a timely manner on all past due invoices. Escalate any issues or disputed invoices to the appropriate level. Prepare weekly and monthly reports to upper management.

  • Company Policies and Procedures - Through report and audit activities, ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures. Assist in identifying revisions needed in current policies and procedures. Escalate issues to management. Meet with leadership weekly to review department activity

  • Credit and Collections Personnel Supervision - Ensure that employees are properly trained (not only for their own responsibilities but for backup support as well) and seek out ways to advance their skills and capabilities. Evaluate and anticipate work volume and assign/distribute work accordingly. Supervise, recruit, hire and train credit and collections personnel.

  • Employee Development - Perform duties such as conducting Talent Development discussion sessions, rating performance, establishing/tracking goals Responsible for coaching, motivating, mentoring, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • 8-15 years' related experience

Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance)
