DATTCO has a full-time Customer Service Representative opening in our School Bus Division located in New Britain, CT. The Customer Service Representative provides friendly and highly responsive service to customers from initial inquiry through trip completion and beyond. Our aim is to encourage repeat business by building relationships with our customers and providing the highest level of service in the industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Respond to booking requests received via phone, email, web quotations, social media and other channels.

  • Prepare quotations for potential customers and follow up as needed to book business.

  • Create work tickets/itineraries.

  • Maintain contact with customer to ensure accurate booking details.

  • Prepare & distribute invoices to customers.

  • Maintain accurate records in DATTCO charter booking software.

  • Manage accounts receivable.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Customer service experience

  • Planning and organizational skills

  • Detail oriented and customer focused

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Adaptability to different personality types

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Ability to become proficient with our software used for quoting, selling and dispatching charter trips

  • Team player
