DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Step into Your New Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical EIT in our Facilities Department. The MEP Division is a highly innovative division within the Facilities Department. The Facilities Division is a multi-disciplinary team that works on focused and multi-disciplinary project opportunities in numerous private and public markets. The right candidate can sit in any of our New Cumberland, PA, Dover, DE, Falls Church, VA or Hunt Valley, MD offices.
Responsibilities * Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications. * Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures. * Perform routine mechanical engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures. * Write and edit mechanical specifications, and select mechanical systems and devices. * Utilize engineering software to develop HVAC loads, energy analysis and mechanical equipment selections. * Prepare construction documents for HVAC and plumbing design of buildings, including drawings, specifications and reports * Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
Requirements * Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years experience * EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months * Experience with equipment selection software * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus
Skills and Experience * Excellent verbal and written skills are required * Public Speaking/Presentation skills are a plus * The ability to work indepndently and in a collaborative environment is important
