Oakworks Inc. Design Engineer in NEW FREEDOM, Pennsylvania
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled engineer who enjoys working cooperatively with cross-functional teams to improve existing designs as well as new product development. The Design Engineer position allows growth in multiple areas of engineering. Oakworks is looking for a candidate that enjoys hands-on work prototyping, testing and good people skills. You will be communicating with employees at various levels of the company therefore strong communications skills are key. This candidate will have prior project management experience to help lead projects in the engineering department.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or closely related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience: 5+ years' experience of Product Development experience required. 5+ years 3D Modeling experience required (Autodesk Inventor preferred). 5+ years work experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrates a "customer-first" mentality, focused on meeting the needs of customers and captures feedback to make improvements.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, time management, Project Management skills required.
