work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Driving and Deliveries:

• Operate a box truck in a safe and efficient manner.

• Follow scheduled routes and meet delivery timelines.

• Ensure the accurate delivery of goods to customers, stores, or warehouses.

• Loading and Unloading:

• Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.

• Use equipment like dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed.

• Verify the accuracy of delivery items against shipping documents.

• Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

• Ensure the truck is clean and well-maintained.

• Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and any incidents.

• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

• Adhere to company policies regarding safety, conduct, and operations.

• Customer Service:

• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

• Address customer inquiries or issues promptly and effectively. Safety:

• Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, your co-workers, and the public.

• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Skills

• Box truck (2 years of experience is required)

• Pallet Jack Operation (1 year of experience is preferred)
