Position: Sports Specialist (Asst Men’s Lacrosse Coach) Salary: $20.50-22.00/hour

DUTIES :

Assisting the Head Men’s Head Lacrosse Coach with all aspects of coaching and administration the NCAA DIII Men’s Lacrosse program at the US Coast Guard Academy.

Recruiting athletically and academically qualified students. Organizing, scheduling, and conducting practices and competitions.

Management of home men’s lacrosse competitions. Ensuring program compliance with all college, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Performing any other duties and responsibilities related to the coaching position as needed or directed by the Head Coach of Men’s Lacrosse.

Teaching different skills associated with the program, working to maintain statistics, and breaking down film.

Performing any other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

Minimum:

  1. Collegiate men’s lacrosse experience

  2. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

  3. High School School Diploma or equivalent

    Preferred (in addition to the minimum):

  4. Collegiate, High School or Lacrosse Club coaching experience

  5. Demonstrated experience in recruiting athletically talented, academically qualified, and diverse student athletes to an academically rigorous institution.
