How will you make an impact in this role?

The ANZ Brand Marketing Team is a crucial pillar to the Marketing function at Amex, working across the Enterprise to lead, support and connect the Business through core value propositions that resonate with existing customers, merchants and our prospects. An exciting role has come up in the team for an experienced Marketer who understands the importance of brand in driving business outcomes and is a strong collaborator to lead, support and consult on behalf of the Brand team across the Enterprise.

This role will be responsible for delivering and owning Brand activity in line with our key strategic propositions and partnering closely with stakeholders to positively impact the prospect & customer marketing funnel to deliver brand consideration, brand evaluation and growth in new acquisition & customer billings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in collaborating, positively influencing and delivering marketing activity across multiple channels and teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully deliver and uphold the principles of Brand creative harmonisation to drive impact and media effectiveness in market

  • Own Brand led propositions in market to deliver compelling multichannel activity that drives cut through with target demographics including always on content partnership opportunities & upper funnel campaigns (e.g. Social, OOH, Outdoor, Video, Audio and others)

  • Lead upper funnel campaigns across key Experiential and Partnership media activity (e.g. Customer Marketing Activity, Delicious Month Out, Shop Small, South by SouthWest)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners (internal and external) to become the dedicated point of contact for select stakeholders to engage, consult and drive Brand propositions & guideline alignment

  • Maintain Enterprise wide visibility across activity to ensure strategic connections between activity and linked back to core focus areas across the Business

Preferred Qualifications

  • End to end creative and marketing channel execution experience through the line, ideally across traditional and digital media channels

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders

  • Problem solver who is able to connect the dots and identify collaborative solutions

  • Highly motivated individual who has a positive attitude, and not afraid to challenge the status quo

  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, manage expectations with stakeholders and multi-task where needed across projects

  • Results driven with a focus on effectiveness alongside efficiency

  • Strong attention to detail
