General summary:
- Responsible for managing various aspects of internal and external communications for Johnson & Johnson MedTech ANZ, with focuses on:
Drive growth for the business units
Develop and implement communication strategy to support the key priorities of the business units.
Act as integrated business partner to the business units to provide communication consul in support business growth / objectives.
- Establish J&J MedTech’s leadership through creating compelling communication programs for new product launches, patient education, disease awareness and other related activities
Create innovative programs to generate SOV and impact for product launches, market entry of new technologies and innovations.
Create on-going stories through effective PR efforts to raise the awareness of diseases. Partner with Marketing team to develop effective patient education activities by driving high quality media coverage and content.
Explore new / creative ways to engage HCPs and patients to raise the awareness of disease treatments.
- Lead internal communications to cultivate culture and engage employees across all levels
Develop internal communication strategy and programs to support the needs of culture development across the J&J MedTech ANZ organization, respective business units and J&J MedTech New Zealand business.
Create effective leadership communications for Managing Director, J&J MedTech ANZ, respective BU leaders and GM of J&J MedTech New Zealand to drive employee engagement, pride and advocacy.
Lead key employee engagement activities by designing relevant and impactful content, which include but not limited to townhalls, kick off meetings, global executive visits and etc.
- Raise and protect J&J MedTech’s reputation in Australia and New Zealand by proactively developing a highly impactful corporate communication strategy with effective communications initiatives and programs
Lead and champion the J&J MedTech brand transformation to engage external and internal stakeholders.
Explore opportunities to profile J&J MedTech as an industry leader on trade and business publications.
Lead crisis and issue management to protect the reputation of J&J MedTech and our products.
Collaborate with the CPA team of J&J Innovative Medicine to identify opportunities to amplify and maximize J&J’s impact to our Credo stakeholders on external platforms.
- Engage the key external stakeholders to shape up the business environment
Display skills in working closely with business partners including government affairs, market access, regulatory affairs, marketing and etc in responding inquiries by bringing communications expertise and in getting alignment and to maximize opportunities for internal and external engagement.
Work closely with government affairs and other teams to identify the right areas to help shape up the policies and regulations to enhance the business environment through effective communication efforts.
- Drive creative social media activations and content creation
Develop creative, connected and disruptive social media content for J&J MedTech ANZ social media platforms in line with J&J’s global social media policy and guidelines.
Consider paid and earned opportunities to unify messaging and positioning.
Maintain strong understanding of current industry, thought leadership, social media, and health policy trends affecting the J&J MedTech’s reputation in the market.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related majors. 8 to 10 years’ experience in corporate communications in either a consultancy or company. Post Graduate studies are an advantage.
Issues and crisis communication experience. Marketing communications experience would be an advantage.
Proactive attitude to identify and address opportunities.
Strong relations with the right level of journalists in mainstream and trade media outlets.
Exceptional communication and coordination skills in a complex organization with proven success in navigating among multiple stakeholders.
Budget and agency management experience.
Possesses critical reasoning, project management skills and is versatile with ability to understand complexities associated with a variety of structures
