Neuberger Berman Alternatives Specialist in New York, New York

Summary

Neuberger Berman is seeking an Alternatives Specialist to join the North American Intermediary Sales team in the New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Support of Alternatives Specialist Team and Client Advisors in all aspects of registered PE fundraising across US financial intermediaries

  • Coordination among NB internal constituencies of the Fund, including the Private Markets Investment Team, Sales Management, Client Advisors, and Marketing

  • Present Neuberger’s private equity platform, specifically focused on our suite of Registered PE products

  • Educate financial advisors and their clients, developing their understanding of private equity investing e.g. markets, product structure, investment outcomes, etc.

  • Provide investment and market updates to existing clients

  • Host and execute group Zoom events with advisors and clients to discuss private markets and NB’s Registered PE funds

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in economics, business, finance, or similar

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience (i.e., finance, accounting, investment banking, private equity)

  • Demonstrated academic achievement

  • Resourcefulness, ability to multi-task, team-oriented attitude, and a desire to work on a wide range of projects and manage them effectively

  • Self starter, ability to work autonomously

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Strong judgment, maturity, and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication, and ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form

  • Series 7, 63 and 65 or Series 7 and 66 licenses required within 90 days of employment

Compensation Details

The salary range for this role is $140,000-$180,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
