Company: WSP USA Inc.Position: Associate Consultant, Advisory ServicesSalary: $95,763.20 / yearLocation: 1 Penn Plaza, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10119 Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related. 1 year of experience as an Engineering Consultant, Transportation Engineer, Traffic Engineer, Civil Engineer, or related. Must have experience in: Supporting technical studies to advance infrastructure projects including feasibility studies, environmental assessments, traffic operation and safety studies, transit/cyclist planning studies, economic/financial analysis, and transportation master planning; Utilizing transportation planning tools/software’s such as Synchro, HCS, Sidra, PTV Vissim, AutoCAD, AutoTURN, Civil 3D, Streetlight Data, and Microsoft Excel to assist in the planning and design of infrastructure developments; Applying project management and business development skills by assisting in the drafting of project proposals, Requests for Information (RFI), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), project budgets, and project schedules. Duties: Work within a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of complex consulting projects across infrastructure sectors including water, transport, energy and social; Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, document findings, present project outcomes and support the management of client relationships; Assisting public and private sector clients in the development and implementation of strategies to advance large-scale infrastructure projects through business case development, financial modelling and analysis, advice on state and federal programs, procurement strategy and support, economic analysis, research and innovation, asset management, and project management support; Supporting technical studies including zero-emission transit planning studies, life cycle cost analysis, benefit-cost analysis, road usage charge studies, construction cost escalation studies, grant funding applications, project delivery framework development; Providing strategic support in all phases of infrastructure planning and project development; Analyzing infrastructure project/program funding and financing options; Assisting in the development of procurement strategies and documents for alternative delivery projects including Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and Requests for Proposals (RFP); Reviewing and interpreting federal legislation and guidance; Liaising with clients as well as technical, legal, and third-party stakeholders.
