The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director of Admissions Systems and Operations holds a key leadership role within the Admissions Department. They are tasked with the strategic management and optimization of the Technolutions Slate platform and other admissions systems. This role offers a unique blend of technical, strategic, and leadership responsibilities, to improve admissions operations, ensuring efficient, data-driven decision-making and a superior applicant experience. Then Associate Director is essential for maintaining the integrity of the admissions process from application to enrollment and plays a vital role in fostering a positive and collaborative culture within the department. Subject to business needs, we may support hybrid and remote work arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Office of Admissions operations and customer service functions, including business processes, data capture and processing, functional and systems-related technology, document management, application processing, and notification functions.
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance for the development, management, and utilization of systems, databases, reports, and data to facilitate student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment for both degree and non-degree programs.
  • Oversee data flow between the online application system and the Student Information System (SIS), ensuring reporting accuracy and data integrity.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive reporting tools and dashboards within Slate to track admissions trends, outcomes, and key performance indicators. Provide actionable insights to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage the routine maintenance and administration of the CSSW Admissions Slate platform, including the creation and upkeep of admissions queries, rules, and reports, managing data import/export procedures, troubleshooting system-wide issues, and overseeing Slate-hosted applications.
  • Actively monitor and maintain data accuracy and integrity within the Slate system, utilizing audit and reporting tools to identify and rectify data discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the institution, building strong relationships with academic departments, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure the admissions process aligns with the School's strategic goals. Coordinate enrollment services across CSSW, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Evaluate and implement operating procedures. Develop and improve operational processes and create efficiencies. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders concerning policies and procedures.
  • Lead the development, testing, implementation, and management of Technolutions Slate, and propose recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Direct annual admissions cycle preparations, including reviewing updates to the application process and managing data and document retention.
  • Facilitate staff development, training, and onboarding in the use of Slate, SIS, and other relevant software and technologies. This might involve creating documentation, leading training sessions, and acting as the primary point of contact for any Slate-related issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, and 3-5 years of related experience.

  • Proven expertise in Technolutions Slate or similar CRM platforms.
  • Proficiency using databases and creating queries.

Other Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
  • Ability to build and sustain productive working relationships with supervisors, peers, and vendors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making.
  • Experience with admissions software and other relevant technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in using Technolutions Slate and Student Information Systems (SIS).
  • Prior experience in Higher Education or a similar educational setting is advantageous.
