AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings in New York, NY for an BIM Specialist II.DUTIES: Provide training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Assist in providing training and technical support to design staff on Building Information Modeling systems. Act as a support resource for core design technologies. Maintain current knowledge of design software, industry developments in integrated practice, and other applicable techniques. Devote time to research new and upcoming technologies. Utilize specialist knowledge to conduct complex modeling, data management, analysis and/or optimization for architectural and engineering designs. Deliver assigned tasks, projects and group initiatives in an efficient manner. Coordinate support between external vendors and internal staff. Support efforts in development, testing and implementation of design tools and services. Support the development and implementation interoperability workflows between various design applications/platforms. Assist in the creation and review Design Technology learning materials. May telecommute.Minimum requirements for entry into the position: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a BIM Specialist II-related occupation.Position requires experience in the following:1. Revit;2. AutoCAD;3. BIM360;4. Rhino;5. Grasshopper;6. Dynamo;7. Visual Studios;8. Navisworks; and9. Civil 3D.Offered rate of compensation (New York city locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
