Description

We are in search of a skilled Credit Specialist to join a team located in New York, New York. This role is pivotal in our Accounting department, where you will be tasked with processing customer credit applications, maintaining credit records, and handling credit-related inquiries. Your role will also extend to monitoring credit accounts and taking appropriate steps to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in an efficient manner

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts consistently

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers

• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage and update records

• Carry out account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of records

• Handle accounts payable and receivable duties

• Conduct data entry tasks and process invoices as required

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proven ability to manage Billing processes

• Demonstrated skills in Data Entry

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks

• Candidates must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
