Langan Geospatial Systems Engineer in New York, New York

JOB SUMMARY This individual will play a crucial role in designing and implementing systems that support both current and future Enterprise GIS environments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a growing and fast-paced technology team that works on Esri ArcGIS Enterprise deployments across on-premises, Azure, and AWS cloud environments for both internal and customer projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES -Collaborate with Langan's geospatial, network and development teams to design and build Enterprise GIS environments that serve both internal and external clients. -Perform ArcGIS Enterprise installation, configuration, maintenance and support. -Apply concepts of computing, networking, security, and the cloud to system design. -Understand and apply Esri licensing and server roles. -Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing server environments. -Plan, develop, test, and document disaster recovery, redundancy, and backup activities for Enterprise GIS environments. -Develop and maintain scripts to automate application installation, configuration, and administration.
QUALIFICATIONS -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other related discipline is required (Masters degree a plus). -1+ years of real-world experience designing, executing, and supporting Esri ArcGIS Enterprise. -Experience identifying and resolving complex technical issues. -Self-motivated learner who continually keeps up to date with new technology. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. -High caliber of self-motivation with the ability to work well within groups.
