GLOBAL MEDIA MANAGER

MEDIA - NEW YORK, NY

COTY is looking for smart leaders who are tenacious, passionate, and fearlessly kind.

The GlobalMedia Managerwill report directly to the Senior Media Director and be responsiblefor supportingthem and their team in driving Coty's efficiency & effectiveness roadmap, coordinating across the Americas forCoty brands.

S/He/Theywill usetheirleadership skills and influence power toensure that global frameworks are translated into local compliance, contributing to effective business outcomes with efficient use of media dollars.

S/He/They will leverage their analytical experience and digital acumen + media intelligence tools to encourage data-based decision making.

S/He/They will work in collaboration with personnel in Coty's Digital Organization (CDO) to enhance and support communications strategies, ways of working, best practices, processes and measurement approaches that can be applied across thebusiness.

S/He/They will fuel a Paid Owned & Earned (POE) approach partnering with Media, Influencer & Digital teams to bring forth 360 campaigns that drive media excellence.

S/He/They will also bea critical point person to interact with the Media Performance, Data, Analytics & Measurement teams to collaborate on global brand needs and local market compliance. In addition, collaborating to ensure the right set of tools ae being leveraged to track, optimize & analyze media plans.

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Support Coty team with digital expertise, including but not limited to activity on key media platforms
  • Assess plans performance in digital including viewability, views, attention, ROI and optimizing to KPIs.
  • Support teams with digital insight and data for strategic planning process; challenge markets where diversion exists
  • Develop and execute digital media presentations and reports using tools to monitor and track media
  • Collaborate with teams internally to ensure Digital Media is a contributor to brand growth; accountable for delivering against media goals/objectives, ensuring the best ROI possible
  • Communicate on and evaluate digital progress against key metrics while constantly looking for ways to optimize digital performance
  • Contribute to seek 1st to markets innovation across digital partners within Coty's test & learn framework
  • Accountable for collaborating with key internal teams, including marketing, digital, PR/influencer, ecommerce, etc. Collaborate closely with Consumer Market Insights team on understanding audience behavior online and performance of campaigns
  • Maintain strong relationships and collaboration with contracted media agencies
  • Work closely with the data team to make digital data accessible to all driving data-based decision making (Insert "Core/Key Responsibilities" here)

QUALIFICATIONS

We'd love to see candidates who have:

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience building and scaling global brand digital media strategy for rapid growth
  • Agency background and significant time spent in digital media strategy and .com channels
  • Managed digital media budgets across multiple brands/sub-brands, client, or agency side
  • International experience with a portfolio of brands
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, ability to present to leadership
  • Experience building traffic/business driving initiatives that resulted in real synergy between retail and .com; has executed successful channel integration strategies
  • Strong understanding of the KPIs to optimize digital media performance
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
  • Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in approaching new and innovative ways of executing
  • Strong knowledge of digital media landscape and current/emerging platforms & technologies
  • Experience in growing strong partnerships with key digital players
  • Experience in a dynamic, matrix organization
  • Active learner who is willing to experiment and be open minded to new ideas and technology
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization
  • Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and reconciling differences
  • Experience in a branded beauty business
  • Passion for the beauty industry and an understanding of cultural movement behind it
  • Bachelor's degree required

Base Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 + bonus
