Job Summary

The 1221 Lobby Lead is responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executive and lobby staff members at all times.

Duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively manage day to day lobby operations of Rockefeller Group’s 1221 building

Provide high-level internal and external customer support

Maintain building visitor list by managing the access badge process for employees and visitors; follow all security procedures and ensure visitors have visitor badges and name tags

Respond to client/guest inquiries and anticipate customer needs

Speak knowledgeably about the office, tenants, tenant protocols, and building procedures

Manage and assign daily duties to the lobby staff

Training and supervising lobby staff

Responds to employee inquires and escalates issues to lobby manager and/or General Manager

Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching

Organize the workflow and ensure the employees understand their job duties and delegated tasks

Restock supplies and maintain inventory records

Enforces policies and procedures for departmental operations

General administrative support and record keeping

Ensure that work environment is safe, secure, and healthy

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

2 years of hotel or corporate guest service experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Great computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet

Bachelor’s degree is preferred
