Robert Half Help Desk Analyst III in New York, New York

Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst III in the asset management industry, located in New York, New York. The Help Desk Analyst III will be responsible for providing high-level technical support in a high-volume, regulated enterprise environment. The role will involve using ticketing systems, active directory, and various software tools to support end-users, advocating user enabling technologies, and operating within an ITIL framework.

Responsibilities:

• Use ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to manage and resolve user issues efficiently

• Operate within an ITIL framework to ensure standardized procedures are followed

• Provide support in a high-volume, regulated enterprise environment, ideally within finance

• Advocate and create user enabling technologies to enhance user experience and productivity

• Exhibit technical depth in supporting Windows 10 and common software tools, including productivity and security software for an enterprise environment

• Utilize Active Directory for managing user accounts and access controls

• Provide remote support using BeyondTrust (Bomgar) remote access appliance or similar tools

• Understand and implement asset management principles and software use

• Support the O365 suite to ensure seamless collaboration and productivity among users

• Use System Center Configuration Manager to streamline IT operations

• Provide support for IOS/Android devices

• Possess basic knowledge in one or more of the following: PowerShell Scripting, ServiceNow development, Statistical Analysis, Process design. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies required

• Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft products and operating systems

• Experience with Active Directory is necessary

• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware is required

• Must have experience in Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware is necessary

• Proficiency in ServiceNow ITSM required

• Must have experience with Microsoft Windows 10

• Understanding of Microsoft SCCM is required

• Must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Must demonstrate a strong customer service orientation

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is necessary

• Must be willing to continuously update skills as technology evolves
