Description We are looking for a talented iOS Developer to join our team in New York, New York. This role is crucial to our tech team, as you will be tasked with developing a native video player add-on for HLS playback augmentation on iOS and interacting with multiple 3rd parties APIs as well as in-house AR pipeline. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a native video player add-on for HLS playback augmentation on iOS (AVPlayer)

• Design and execute an innovative architecture for augmentation & targeting

• Collaborate with multiple 3rd parties APIs and in-house AR pipeline

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience

• Ensure frame-accurate synchronization between video playback and augmentation layers

• Optimize rendering performance for real-time video augmentation

• Troubleshoot and resolve challenging issues related to video playback and augmentation

• Maintain expertise in Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Metal / OpenGL for real-time rendering and video synchronization

• Deliver end to end solutions embedded on the iOS platform

• Maintain strong expertise in software development/engineering including installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Apple iOS development

• Experience with HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) is essential

• Knowledge of Augmented Reality technologies

• Proficiency in Core Graphics and OpenGL technologies

• Strong skills in Core Animation

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
