Lead Senior Staff Engineer (Platform Managed Services) (StubHub, Inc., New York, NY)Provide technical leadership on strategic projects that solve complex software problems across many teams, with proven significant business impact. Design and develop robust, distributed systems using multiple general-purpose programming languages including Java, C#, SQL, and KQL, platforms, frameworks, and tools. Provide technical strategic direction to design major services, frameworks, toolsets, and features in collaboration with multiple teams. Handle the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of impactful improvements across company platforms and products with agility, resulting in high-quality outcomes. Help build and mentor a team of software engineers, championing process and culture improvements within the Engineering organization and increasing technical capabilities. Foster a culture of inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and limitless creativity. Implement robust system monitoring solutions, configure alerts, and conduct proactive system health checks to identify and resolve issues swiftly, ensuring high availability and reliability of software systems. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to StubHub Inc. at 3 World Trade Center - 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, NY 10007. Salary: $240,000 to $350,000 per year.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Network Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving maintaining, building, and supporting software systems.Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience building and supporting N-tier products authored in a mixture of back-end and front-end (including JavaScript) languages; 5 years of professional experience working on all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering and analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance, as well as working with enterprise multi-tier software systems and development pipelines including integration testing, dependency injection, web applications and microservices; 5 years of professional experience building production software systems with any combination of C#, Java, SQL, and KQL; 5 years of professional experience building and maintaining complex distributed systems; 5 years of professional experience working with Back-end frameworks that support architecting complex applications with Microsoft .NET6/7/8, React, Blazor, or SignalR; 5 years of professional experience with open-source technical specifications including GRPC; and 1 year of professional experience working within the Azure cloud ecosystem including Azure Service Bus, Azure Redis, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Explorer, and Azure storage.CONTACT: Apply online at: https://jobs.lever.co/StubHub
