Job Description

Insight Global's investment banking client is looking for a Level Two Production Support Analyst to join their Market Operations team in NYC! This candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to technical platform and trade failures, managing communication for internal/external clients providing succinct, proactive updates and setting expectations through to resolution, and technical troubleshooting (analyzing application log files, FIX logs, environmental issues, client connectivity issues). They will also be responsible for building tools, automating processes, and performing new software upgrades/deployments.

Skills and Requirements

-4+ years of experience with scripting - preferably Python

-Strong experience with Unix commands

-Experience with external connectivity/basic networking concepts

-Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, or Foreign Exchange

-Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to understand a business user and translate -Experience with Source Code Repositories (Git, Perforce etc.) and Software Release concepts and tools strongly preferred

-SQL

-FIX Protocol experience

-Jira null
