Kroll, LLC Manager II, Divisional Financial Planning & Analysis, Kroll Settlement Administration in New York, New York

Kroll Business Services (KBS) is seeking to hire a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to conduct the budgeting and financial reporting process of one of our subsidiaries, Kroll Settlement Administration ("KSA"), as well as participate in the financial reporting process of the KBS business. This experienced professional will work collaboratively with the finance teams across Kroll and the KBS business. The individual should have extensive budgeting, financial reporting and month end review experience.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will report to the KBS CFO. The employee will work in New York City where Kroll headquarters and the majority of KBS and KSA management teams are located. The employee will be expected to travel to Philadelphia, where KSA has an office, to the extent required to perform the duties listed below.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end close calculations and schedules and financial statements for Kroll Settlement Administration.
  • Manage preparation of monthly reporting package for Kroll Settlement Administration
  • Act as an integral part of the service line leadership team. Collaborate with service line and divisional leadership to set nancial targets and KPIs aligned with the strategic objectives and monitor progress towards achieving them through regular P& L reviews.
  • Drive service line strategic decision making with a data and insight driven approach
  • Prepare annual budget for Kroll Settlement Administration as well as quarterly reforecasts with thoughtful and informative budget to actual analyses
  • Help review and improve finance operations across KBS division
  • Coordinate and communicate with Kroll Finance and across KBS division to ensure operational success and timely and accurate reporting
  • Ensure Kroll Settlement Administration is prepared for its external audits.
  • Other finance-related tasks as needed

Essential Traits:
  • Bachelor's in accounting and master's degree in accounting or business administration
  • At least 5 years of public accounting work experience
  • CPA license is preferred
  • Strong excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with Senior Management and colleagues at all levels of a company

The current New York salary range for this position is $70, 000 - $130, 000.
