Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role:
We are seeking a results-oriented Manager to work across PayPal in the delivery of talent review, succession, and feedback. This role will work closely with COE leadership, people business partners and other members of COEs to successfully deliver talent assessment, coaching administration, and promotion practices. Additionally, this role will have a primary role in project management and go to market activities and materials.

The successful candidate will be accountable for leading programs at scale, from need identification to implementation, considering the unique needs of our internal customers and external best practices. Responsibilities will be focused across different talent domains: talent management, coaching, promotion, feedback, development, and assessment.

  • Able to quickly process information, identify interdependencies and make sound decisions.

  • Operates as a strong partner and liaison between the People Business Partner(s) and other members of Centers of Excellence (COE) who orchestrate the delivery of services.

  • Bring an "outside in" perspective, understanding market best practices and innovative talent recommendations.

Your day to day

  • Supports the delivery of succession planning and talent review at scale including session materials, preparation and executive reporting.

  • Responsible for broad reporting related to coaching effectiveness and participation rates, feedback participation rates and themes as well as other necessary components.

  • Operates as point of contact for People Business Partners on reporting, data changes and technology solutions.

  • Supports the ongoing delivery of talent health scorecards and insights - at functional / BU level and at enterprise level.

  • Serves as primary point of contact for coaching and feedback vendor management.

  • Supports the evolution, implementation and automation of coaching and feedback at scale.

  • Creates manager readiness approach for assigned domains, with specific focus on improving capability and accountability.

  • Monitors executive promotion process including scope, candidate readiness and decision-making processes.

What do you need to bring:

  • 5+ years of formal succession planning and assessment experience in a defined COE.

  • Domain expertise in areas of assessment, coaching, talent management and/or feedback.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent data analysis capability, with particular focus on data-driven insights and actions

  • Must be able to flourish and navigate in a rapidly changing organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity.

  • Track record of success in a results-oriented HR role with broad influence across an HR function.

  • Experience with talent and performance modules of Workday.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is
$64000 to $156750
