JPMorgan Chase New Payment Rails Vice President Product Delivery in New York, New York

The NPR team is responsible for driving product engagement for Pay by Bank and modernizing payments across all rails including TCH RTP, FedNow, Early Warning Services (Zelle) and NACHA. The scope of this role includes but is not limited to Pay by Bank, Real-Time Payment, Request for Payment, data aggregation, overlay and value added services such as fraud and risk services, tokens and modernizing monolith applications.

Chase is seeking a highly effective, organized and detail oriented Vice President that has a strong understanding and track record of launching complex payment products in partnership across various functional teams. You should be comfortable working under little guidance with the ability to comfortably make product execution decisions. Focus will be working closely with product strategy to define the 'how' and deep diving into product delivery activities including capacity and sprint planning, backlog management, change management, managing stakeholders and blockers for delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and lead parts of the end to end product management lifecycle including working with product strategy to determine the feasibility of the requirements, breaking down the work into tactical steps for engineering and design for execution

  • Identify and communicate cross team dependencies and risks; collaborate with execution teams to ensure end to end delivery

  • Manage the backlog with continuous sprint planning across technology and in conjunction with design

  • Coordinate across controls, risk, compliance and legal as new technical discoveries surface

  • Maintains a high level of visibility over product timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners

  • Help support Product Lead in ad-hoc capacities including any ad-hoc requests from leadership including presentations and analysis

  • Identify systematic changes to help product strategy determine the feasibility of requirements and timelines

  • Plans for resiliency in all aspects and engages in and know how modernization will impact the product set

  • Understand overall product strategy and incorporate it into tactical planning

  • Manage incident management with plan of action for resolution with L2 and technology

  • Manage enterprise-wide release and deployment processes and strategies

Required Qualifications Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products or technology applications ideally in the payments space

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Well versed in both business and technology

  • Ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, communicate effectively (both verbal and written) and resolve roadblocks as needed

  • Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude and inspiring skills a must

  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams with opportunity to be flexible

  • Comfortable working on ambiguous and/or new concepts

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform at high standards with limited supervision with an attention to detail
