Sotheby's International Realty New York office is searching for an Office Coordinator. This role is a great stepping stone into the world of residential real estate! The role provides supporting services necessary to enable the Real Estate brokers and associates to perform their duties of listing and selling real estate and allow the office to run efficiently. This position will manage front desk duties and will be the first friendly face that our clients and agents connect with.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ordering business cards, building ID's for new agents

• Maintain and order supplies

• Assist agents with completing (typing) pre populated forms

• Ensuring agents licenses are up to date and assisting in the renewals process

• Provide administrative support to agents / IT assistance

• Ad hoc projects as needed

• Exclusive listing updates (Price changes, status changes, expiration dates, open houses)

• Greeting visitors and agent entering our office

• Ordering of messengers from 3 rd party service

• Occasional phone answering

• Sort through daily mail

Requirements:

• 4-year degree or equivocal and/or related office administrative experience (preferably in a real estate office)

• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Attention to detail and should enjoy finance and numbers.

• Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels.

• Two or more years' experience in a customer centric business environment with administrative responsibility for office operations.

• Real Estate background preferred.
