Citigroup Product Developer Lead Specialist in New York, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Product Developer Lead Specialist for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Monitor the overall performance of Receivables Finance Products globally, including client experience, pricing, risk, and distribution. Implement performance improvement strategies, with a specific focus on cross-sell and integration, including the development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensions. Assist sales and relationship managers in building skills needed to identify client needs and proposes solutions in line with business objectives. Partner closely with sales teams to identify client and new businesses opportunities. Participate in and prepare materials for the Product Approval Program and related processes, ensure products are delivered and adhere to all parameters globally. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, implementations, and sales to deliver solutions for Citi clients. Coordinate product risk and control, documentation, credit, legal and regulatory risk, and manage transactional P&L through business drivers, and profitability ratios. Participate in and facilitate product discussions with partners in asset distribution, legal, credit risk, operations, and systems capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of program expansions. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Partner and assist regional product managers on the day-to-day business, product discussions and specific region needs. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field, and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Seven (7) years of experience must include: Handling a trade securitization portfolio to ensure compliance to Basel and Securitization Policy standards; Handling portfolio-based approach for the leading Corporates as a useful tool to monetize receivables in a sustainable way; Traunching risk across junior, mezzanine and Senior traunches as per the securitization framework to manage the securitization portfolio; Ensuring right Risk Capital and RWA is allocated for the portfolio, which in turn is reported to regulators monthly; Ensuring risk parameters are getting updated on regular frequency to ensure the health of the portfolio; Educating sales personnel of the changing regulations, regulatory frameworks, perfection and assignment laws to manage and implement Receivables Finance Programs globally; and Analyzing and assessing receivables, finance product control standards, and related policies governing these structures. 40 hrs./wk. 25% domestic & international travel required.
