Our elevated brick + mortar locations will offer pick up and dine in options, as well as delivery to your home.

As a food-tech startup backed by top-tier venture capitalists and led by a team of experienced entrepreneurs—including some of the most accomplished leaders in the technology, culinary, and logistics industries—we’re growing. Join us in pioneering a new category of dining called “Fast-Fine”, and revolutionizing the way people eat.

About the role

Within our kitchens, we use technology to make all aspects of our operation more efficient; this enables us to deliver on our customer promise of high quality food and minimal time. A central pillar of this technology is an inventory management system that aims to maintain accurate counts of over 600 distinct, perishable SKUs while adding minimal overhead to the daily actions of our line cooks and managers.

In this role you will own the success of Pantry, our proprietary inventory management solution. This position will allow you to balance the competing priorities of minimizing waste and reducing stockouts, and to optimize usability and collection of high-quality data. Constantly you will use this data to assess how we can improve labor metrics, reduce cost of unsold inventory, and drive data accuracy. More specifically, you will design app features to improve usability, partner with R&D chefs to inform culinary decisions, team up with our forecasting team to ensure menu items are available for sale, and support stakeholders in root causing inventory-related issues. You will own a multi-platform system that underpins financial reporting, raw material procurement, and real-time operation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generate roadmap for Pantry mobile and web apps based on stakeholder feedback

  • Own the feature development lifecycle from ideation to feature definition, prioritization, testing and measuring impact

  • Conduct user-centered qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform features and roadmap

  • Work collaboratively with engineers, other PMs and product designers to deliver new features and improve existing features

  • Analyze data to generate user insights to assist in the prioritization and optimization of our products and features

  • Lead software development team in agile scrum rituals like sprint planning, daily standups, and backlog grooming

  • Helps analyze impact of new features with business and operations teams, and report key metrics to stakeholders

You will be hard-pressed to find a role that interacts with more stakeholder groups within the company. You will have direct access to your users, and in the process, you may even feel like a guest star on The Bear .

The experience you have

  • 4+ years product management experience

  • Preferably experience delivering products that support operations; bonus if in logistics, inventory, or warehousing

  • Strong analytics experience and quantitative skills; proficient in SQL; ability to draw insights from data and influence stakeholders

  • Have owned a roadmap and prioritized work for development teams

  • Proven ability to own metrics and deliver measurable improvements

  • Understand and have used Design Thinking methodology principles in practice; very capable of empathizing with users

  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills; can communicate clearly to diverse functions and teams; can explain complex details easily to non-technical stakeholders

The way you work

  • You align stakeholders on a common vision and plan by…

  • inviting team members to participate in the product discovery process

  • validating and clearly documenting assumptions

  • outlining how you arrived at a conclusion

  • You build trust by consistently delivering on your commitments, and intentionally and proactively communicating impediments that may delay those commitments

  • You are a self-starter and a leader

  • You care about team culture, and want to actively mentor others

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package including equity and 401K. Additionally, we provide multiple medical, dental, and vision plans to meet all of our employees' needs as well as many benefits and perks that are not listed.
