Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Security Manager in the Marketing/PR industry, based in New York, New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of IT security within the company, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. They will also be required to perform IT audits and manage information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all IT security measures within the company to ensure the protection of data and information systems.

• Implementing and managing industry standard best practices such as ISO27001 and NIST.

• Conducting regular IT audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, GLBA, FISMA, SOX, NIST, CobiT.

• Managing the company's Information Security system, including maintaining and updating as necessary.

• Responding to any IT security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.

• Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure a unified approach to IT security.

• Implementing and managing the ServiceNow ITSM within the company.

• Continually updating knowledge and understanding of industry trends and developments.

• Providing training and guidance to other staff members on IT security matters. Requirements • Proven experience in marketing or public relations industry, preferably at least 5 years in a managerial role.

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of ISO 27001 standards in previous roles.

• Proficiency with NIST cybersecurity framework.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM and its application in a security management context.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Excellent ability to develop and implement security protocols and procedures.

• Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.

• Relevant professional certifications in security management would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of current marketing trends and multimedia platforms is essential.

• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
