Overview

The Talent Acquisition Team at HarperCollins Publishers oversees recruitment across North America, developing cutting-edge strategies to attract top talent. This is an exciting opportunity to handle full cycle recruitment, early career programs, and career development initiatives, while also implementing strategies for process improvement and talent pipeline management.

Responsibilities

Early Career Recruitment

· Develop and implement campus recruitment strategies with a focus on diversity to attract and hire top talent for our fall, spring, and summer internship programs.

· Coordinate and participate in campus recruitment activities to promote internship opportunities and our employer brand.

· Build relationships with university career centers, student organizations, and diversity organizations.

· Organize internship programs including group placement process, orientation, professional development activities, networking events, and mentor program for interns to enhance their learning and growth.

· Monitor intern performance and collect feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of each internship program and make recommendations for improvement.

· Maintain connectivity with former interns and create pipelining strategies for entry level opportunities.

Experienced Recruitment

· Handle full-cycle recruitment for entry level to mid-level roles (25 requisitions) including sourcing, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, managing the interview and offer process, and closing candidates.

· Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.

· Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

· Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure successful recruitment outcomes.

Data Management and Reporting

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS), ICIMS.

· Generate regular reports and metrics to track recruitment activities and effectiveness.

Qualifications

· 5-8 years of campus recruitment and/or experienced recruitment experience.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS); preferably ICIMS.

· Excellent communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong data management and reporting skills.

The salary for this position is $85,000-$115,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
