Position: Senior Security EngineerDuties:Responsible for building tools to automate identifying vulnerabilities and misconfigurations within the cloud environment, the Roku device, and the corporate network. Responsible for monitoring the network for security breaches. Build tools to automate detection based on indicators of compromise and indicators observed during incident response. Build tools to automate investigation and remediation of security incidents and misconfigurations based on forensics and log analysis. Extend and develop tools to identify and alert on security issues. Build baselines to detect and alert on anomalous and risky activity by users, machines, and other assets on the network. Develop security metrics and dashboards to drive remediation.EducationRequired:Bachelor or foreign equivalent in Computing Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field.ExperienceRequired:1 year experience as Associate Engineer, Intern or related occupation.Special Requirements:Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following: 1) Linux; 2) Cyber security; 3) Design and implement WPA3 security protocols automation suite using C#; 4) WPA3 and Wireshark; 5) Develop python-based automatic scenario generator to parse automation log files for failure signatures; 6) Build test scenarios for auto triaging of errors; and 7) Python and C#.Up to 2 days/wk telecommuting may be permitted.Salary: $178,500 - $178,500 per yearApplicant instructions: Email resume to resumes@roku.com.
