Senior Specialist, Product Management

Overview

The Mastercard North America ESG product team, which is a part of the larger Product & Engineering team, is looking for a Senior Specialist, Product Management to support the go to market and evolution of our Financial Inclusion and Hispanic product strategies.

Our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) goals and commitments are core to who we are as a company, and incredibly important to how we support our customers and end consumers. We believe in “doing well by doing good,” and have therefore developed a suite of products and partnership solutions to support our customers in driving greater financial inclusion and reducing their impacts on the environment.

The ideal candidate for this role is highly motivated and a self-starter, able to work effectively across many different stakeholders, comfortable with external customers and executive leadership, and passionate about customer segmentation and scaling our ESG efforts. Also, able to work across various workstreams within team/group.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support the design and execution of U.S. Hispanic and Inclusion core product strategy to serve the evolving needs of this targeted segment, with a focus on achieving our revenue/GDV goals.

• Acquire a deep understanding of our business from a data analytics and competitive landscape perspective to identify opportunities to grow our leadership role in the ecosystem through best-in-class products.

• Provide account teams with critical customer segment support, manage the development of financial business cases, and conduct data analysis to drive commercialization.

• Work with leadership to develop product narrative on SteerCo’s focused both Financial Inclusion and Hispanic

• Work closely with our Global partners to define our product strategies.

• Support the development of new products to the targeted segments of the customer (core value, benefits, and services)

• Evaluate and recommend integration opportunities with existing partnership and sponsorship that amplify our position and products with this growing segment.

• Support segment research to drive market leading product, services, and messaging that resonate with this segment.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization

All About You:

• Self-motivated with a track record of delivering results; highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and proactively to manage products and external customer engagements.

• Develop and build strong cross-functional relationships, including colleagues from other regions and teams.

• Communicate succinctly and clearly and be comfortable presenting to clients and senior management.

• Experience translating and applying customer feedback (internal, external) to inform product strategies.

• Skilled storyteller capable of putting together compelling product and sales material.

• Passionate about Financial Inclusion & Hispanic segment.

• Knowledge of Mastercard and the payments industry preferred.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
