Software Engineer II with Spotify USA Inc. 4 World Trade Center, 150 Greenwich St, New York, NY 10007 *Telecommuting permitted: Work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Spotify USA, Inc. office in New York, NY.Job Duties: Implement backend features to allow artists and labels to promote content through Spotify’s Spotify for Artists product. Resolve dependencies, experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives using agile practices. Maintain legacy systems. Design, architect, and build systems and infrastructure to deliver products promoting content to Spotify consumers. Drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve code and data quality. Serve as a backend tech lead for the team, leading delivery, aligning with product and business stakeholders, and contributing to the technical strategy. Influence the team roadmap, by working with management and stakeholders to identify areas for tech improvement, efficiency, and innovation. *Telecommuting permitted: Work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Spotify USA, Inc. office in New York, NY.Position requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
