We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Global Budget & Planning to join our global finance organization. In this position, you will play a critical role in the Budget, Mid-Year Review, Financial Estimates and Monthly Actual processes of our organization. You will be responsible for providing analytical support for global financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports. The ideal candidate is diligent and data-savvy with strong analytical skills and expertise in financial reporting.

What you will do:

  • Oversee and analyze financial processes including Budget, Mid-Year Review, Financial Estimates, and Monthly Actuals, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of information to management and stakeholders

  • Coordinate and report monthly financial actuals, contribute to the Board of Directors Budget Book, and compile annual subsidiary rankings with insightful performance analysis

  • Prepare and support quarterly financial closing materials, including press releases, analyst calls, and the "Tabbed Deck," to clearly communicate financial results

  • Assist in the creation of monthly Senior Staff presentations, guaranteeing the precision and strategic relevance of financial data presented

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and interpret financial data, while continuously improving financial models and reporting tools for budgeting and planning efficiency

  • Uphold strict compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in all financial reporting and data management, fulfilling information requests from Investor Relations, Corporate Controller, and Senior Corporate Management as necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or a related field, with a proven track record in a global organization

  • Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and complex financial systems

  • Prior experience in provision of data in external reporting formats

  • Advanced financial modeling skills and experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC, Anaplan)

  • Proficient in Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite (Sheets/Excel and Slides/PowerPoint) with experience in creating executive-level presentation materials

Required Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to stakeholders at various levels

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities with a high degree of initiative and independence

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $102,400.00 - $130,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
