Job Summary

Responsible for supporting and delivering strategy of core components of the Comcast platform solution including approaches to supply, data (e.g. bidstream, identity, 3P) and innovations. Lead contact within our business across Comcast NBCUniversal’s portfolio advertising BUs and functional SMEs. For this role you should demonstrate a knowledge of programmatic industry trends including growth areas and limitations (opportunities).

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Supply

  • Evaluate supply partners' potential to impact yield and business outcomes including all types e.g. video, social

  • Establish deal dynamics that “raise all boats” for all side of the ad ecosystem

  • Put in place a process to review and activate around current CMCSA supply partner deals

Data

  • Evaluate and standardize what data signals are required for targeting and measurement capabilities on the Comcast platform solution

  • Establish data categories (e.g. identity, contextual) and associated stakeholders for setting policy and ultimately business requirements

  • Put in place a process to review and activate around current CMCSA supply data deals

Innovation

  • Source and field ad innovation opportunities from a range of angles e.g. unit type/format, customer interactivity, measurement, economics, etc.

  • Facilitate market sizing and technical viability of ad innovation opportunities and business value

  • In partnership with BU partners, identify and evaluate existing and required tech required to achieve the innovation

  • Be a pro-active student of BU practices including an understanding of data assets, inventory mechanics, privacy/compliance considerations, etc.

General

  • Uphold the responsibilities of being the primary business owner of roadmap requests, including business case development, milestone definition, etc.

  • Stay up to date and inform the company on industry benchmarks and competitive offerings

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to navigate a highly matrixed and mature corporation

  • Internalizes and represents the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Coordinates across other functional areas to secure buy-in to deliver on the defined end-to-end customer experience.

  • Performs competitive analysis and conducts market research. Maintains updated view of key competitive changes.

  • Teams with product development to deliver high quality products on time.

  • Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to product content, pricing, packaging and features. Participate in defining product business and functional requirements. Provides product support and documentation and develops product materials.

  • Assists in budgeting and variance analysis of product's unit and financial performance, with goal of identifying opportunities and risks.

  • Drafts and manages requirements and other supporting business documentation (such as use cases, possibly M&Ps [methods and procedures], executive summaries etc.).

  • Leads concepts defining an end-to-end customer experience and expected full lifecycle costs.

  • Contributes to the product vision across team and the organization.

  • Conducts feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis (i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable).

  • Manage change requests. Validates downstream deliverables and final offering (business acceptance testing).

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $158,877.59 - $238,316.39

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
