The Head of Liquidity Advisory (LA) leads a national team of product sales professionals responsible for delivering the complete platform of deposit and investment solutions to corporate clients and prospects helping them achieve their evolving cash investment objectives. The sales team coordinates closely with SVB colleagues to bring differentiated solutions and relationship enhancements to SVB corporate clients. The individual will lead the go to market strategy, establish goals and priorities and oversee distribution execution. Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to goal setting, skill assessment, development needs, coaching and training needs, performance assessment and staffing decisions.


Responsibilities

* As part of the Liquidity Solutions leadership team, develop the overall business strategy, establish goals, and drive execution.
* Develop a distribution and relationship strategy and drive tactical execution.
* Recruit, manage and lead a high performing sales team.
* Oversee the coordination with various partner groups including bankers, portfolio managers and client service.
* Lead the LA sales team by providing the tools, guidance and skills training needed to maximize effectiveness.
* Provide consistent feedback to management team on successes, challenges, and requirements for success.
* Maintain overall general management responsibility for the sales function across KPIs, HR and compliance requirements.
* Support and influence the cross-functional initiatives of other leadership team members.
* Coordinate with deposit and investment product management to support the bank's deposit strategy.

GTM and Sales Execution Leadership
* Establish, evolve, and execute on sales strategy and priorities to achieve Liquidity Solutions business goals.
* Monitor execution and goal progress and lead strategic and tactical adjustments.
* Drive coordination with banking partners to achieve client and business goals.
* Manage and develop team.
* Gap assessment analysis and resolution


Liquidity Solutions Business Strategy and Tactical Execution
* Engagement with the leadership team on business strategy planning and execution
* Developing, evolving, and executing on new and existing initiatives
* Ongoing cross-collaboration

Knowledge:
Strong technical knowledge of on and off-balance sheet products, fixed income markets, corporate clients cash management needs, general banking and investment management, competitors, innovation economy ecosystem, bank and investment client interface systems and reporting.

Skills:
Sales and sales management skills. The ability to communicate effectively and succinctly. Ability to listen, prioritize, problem solve, consult, and present solutions effectively. Ability to mobilize partners and delegate responsibilities.

Qualifications

Basic Requirement:
* 8+ years in sales management with a focus on asset management, banking industry and/or cash management
* BA/BS or (HS Diploma or GED with an additional 4 years in banking or asset management)


Preferred Requirement:
* MBA
* CFA Designation or other investment product training.


Travel is required.

If hired in CA or NYC the base pay for this position is generally between $226,600.00- $339,900.00 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
