VidMob Inc. Technical Project Manager in New York, New York

VidMob, Inc. is the leading creating analytics platform that uses data to understand clients’ audiences, which allows VidMob, Inc. to improve ads and increasing market performance. VidMob, Inc in New York, NY, is seeking Technical Project Manager(s) to collaborate with Project and Product leadership for any resource needs during the planning phase and establish critical escalation path when necessary. In addition, this position will be responsible for managing project execution to ensure adherence to schedule, and scope. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of subject matter principles and concepts in order to perform the duties of the position. Job responsibilities and duties include: Identify need for initial or supplemental project resources. Establish and execute a project communication plan. Monitor and update project plans as needed, including deliverables, dependencies, assignments, and outcomes to ensure initiatives stay on time and on target. Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Participate/Facilitate Scrum of Scrums to keep up steady best practices. Review any scope creep, modifications in the project plans with leadership to approve beneficial changes. Prepare weekly project reports to provide updates on activities and deliverables, project risks, critical paths, as well as significant changes. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables. Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Identify, review, or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs. This position has significant project management responsibilities however it holds no personnel management responsibilities. It does not have direct reports and it does not supervise the work of any other employees.Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least three (3) years’ experience in any related position(s). Employer will accept a foreign degree. In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s). Employer will accept a foreign degree. Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, knowledge, and experience with: 1. Project management experience in a software development centric organization and demonstrated experience managing projects across cross functional teams. 2. Experience with Agile methodologies: Kanban or SAFe. 3. Demonstrated experience applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. 4. AWS environment with Dockers, S3, cloud watch for hosting of micro services with mongo db backend including development of end-to-end architectures and automations. 5. APIGEE Edge API management system managing products, access, policies including end to end fresh implementation. 6. Soap web services space in building and managing production environments. 7. Demonstrated experience with the following tools: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Rational Clear Quest (CQ), Service Now, HP ALM, Git, and Maven.
