Citigroup U.S Cards Advertising Analyst - Vice President in New York, New York

The U.S. Cards Advertising role sits within Citi’s Client organization in the Marketing and Franchise Development group. Our mission is to bring U.S. Personal Banking products to life through powerful and engaging creative supporting Citi’s mission of enabling growth and progress.

The new hire will play a key role in developing and executing best-in-class upper and mid funnel advertising creative to drive acquisitions for the Cards business with a focus on influencer integrations. We are seeking a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building grounded in measurable business results.

Responsibilities:

· Partner with key stakeholders across products to execute against Cards business objectives, support acquisitions and platform engagement for Citi’s credit card business

· Collaborate cross-functionally with agency, above-the-line media, PR, and social media teams to develop and manage influencer content supporting a range of business lines and products

· Write clear and concise briefs for agency partners and vendors; provide direct and actionable direction and feedback

· Proactively solve issues to ensure consistent breakthrough, relevant, consumer-centric creative; apply diversity principles to ensure advertising is representative of the customers we serve

· Conduct qualitative and quantitative research including consumer sentiment research, positioning strategy and communications/advertising development as needed

· Be a go-to expert on Citi’s Global brand guidelines and relevant product playbooks and the application of those guidelines to all advertising

· Own risk and control practices by proactively identifying weaknesses and collaborating cross functionally to mitigate risk and prevent and resolve issues with urgency

· Manage legal and compliance reviews and approvals to ensure all output and record storage is regulatory and policy compliant

· Diligently communicate and manage timelines and deadlines

· Track agency hours and budgets, process production invoices as needed

· Develop presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders

· Keep abreast of the latest consumer, industry, and competitive trends

Qualifications:

· Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

· Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting

· Experience in brand strategy, positioning development, copy and messaging development

· Strong understanding of full funnel marketing dynamics and integrated campaigns, with experience across multiple media channels

· Proven history of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

· Effective & collaborative team player with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Must possess strong curiosity and ability to deal with ambiguity

Education:

· Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$116,880.00 - $175,320.00
