Description We are looking for a VP - IT to join our team in the credit union industry, based in New York. This role involves leading and directing major, complex IT projects within the financial services sector. The position also requires excellent planning, organizing, and leadership skills to motivate, direct and coach staff.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct major, complex IT projects within the financial services industry

• Plan, organize, and lead people and activities efficiently

• Motivate, direct, and coach staff to meet company goals and objectives

• Ensure exceptional attention to detail in a high-volume environment to meet deadlines

• Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written skills

• Master Jack Henry systems and third-party applications such as Symitar & Microsoft Development platforms

• Solve technical and operational problems efficiently

• Provide excellent customer service and manage projects effectively

• Work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 15 pounds at times.

Skills:

• Proficiency with Cisco Technologies and Cloud Technologies

• Experience with CRM and Database management

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Proficient in Auditing and managing Computer Hardware

• Familiarity with Contracts and Deployments

• Experience with Design and implementation of IT systems. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Technologies

• Solid understanding and experience with Cloud Technologies

• Proven capability in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

• Familiarity and hands-on experience with Databases

• Experience with Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Systems

• Auditing skills related to IT operations and systems

• Proficiency in handling and troubleshooting Computer Hardware

• Experience in managing Contracts related to IT services and vendors

• Track record of successful Deployments of IT systems and solutions

• Strong ability in IT systems and infrastructure Design

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT leadership role, preferably in a Credit Union or similar financial institution

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus

• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
