The Chief Investment Office (CIO) of Prudential conducts asset and liability management and portfolio construction for all of Prudentials domestic and international business operations and manages over $400 billion in assets under management as of December 31, 2023. Prudential Select Strategies LLC is a unit of the CIO responsible for alternative investments.
Prudential Select Strategies LLC is a registered investment adviser that originates, underwrites, and manages a diversified portfolio of fund investments to maximize risk-adjusted return on required capital. The team is organized into the following asset classes and teams: Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Assets, Manager of Managers, Operational Due Diligence, and Risk Management. The Alternative Assets Team within Prudential Select Strategies managed over $14 billion as of December 31, 2023.
Prudential Select Strategies LLC is seeking an investment professional to join its Private Equity team. Prudentials private equity portfolio, with a current net asset value of over $9.0 billion, includes investments in buyout, growth, venture, mezzanine and distressed funds, as well as selective co-investments.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Support senior investment professionals in the underwriting and due diligence process of primary fund investments and co-investments
Work closely with senior investment professionals to perform ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting of individual investments and the aggregate portfolio
Conduct ad-hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses, industry benchmarking, and identifying peer groups
Collaborate with other teams within the organization as part of the investment due diligence and execution process
Conduct global market, industry, and strategy research and be informed about current and developing sector and market trends, as well as support related analytical projects
This role is a part of the CIO Analyst Program, a three-year, entry-level role within the Chief Investment Office. Our program provides exposure to multiple pockets of a multifaceted organization while creating the opportunity for success and recognition through meaningful and long-term business impact.
What youll need:
0-2 years of prior financial services experience
Bachelors degree in a business-oriented curriculum; preferred majors include finance, economics, or a similarly quantitative subject area
Minimum 3.0 GPA

Team-oriented with strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
