Job Summary

The Executive Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing high-profile catering events, specifically catering to CEOs, VP-level executives, and other high-profile clients. This role requires expertise in fine dining and exceptional event management skills to ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction. The Executive Catering Manager will manage all aspects of catering operations, including planning, coordination, staffing, and quality control, while maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for high-profile events.

  • Develop customized catering proposals and menus that align with client expectations and dietary preferences.

  • Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, décor, entertainment, and audiovisual requirements.

Menu Development and Execution:

  • Work closely with culinary teams to create innovative and exquisite menus for high-end events.

  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery.

  • Conduct tastings and menu presentations for clients to finalize event details and menu selections.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for high-profile clients throughout the event planning process.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.

  • Anticipate client needs and preferences to provide personalized and attentive service.

Staff Supervision and Training:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of catering staff, including chefs, servers, and event coordinators.

  • Ensure staff are well-prepared and trained to deliver exceptional service and uphold high standards of professionalism.

  • Coordinate staff schedules and assignments to ensure seamless execution of events.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for catering events, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.

  • Monitor expenses and revenues, and implement strategies to maximize profitability and control costs.

  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality services.

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards in food preparation and service.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement quality control measures to uphold the reputation of the catering operation and exceed client expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in catering management, with a focus on high-profile events and fine dining.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing large-scale events for CEOs, VIPs, and high-profile clients.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • The role may require flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate event schedules and client needs.
