THE OPPORTUNITY

The Supply Chain Systems Senior Manager drives change, development and optimization of Supply Chain systems, processes and Food Safety. This person is responsible for ensuring that the design, strategy, roadmap, support, and performance of supply chain systems maximize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.The role will look for continuous ways to reduce cost, and maximize profit, through all of the different applications and systems that CMG Supply Chain uses directly impacting the Company. Optimizing distribution network through network modeling tools to reduce cost of sales, maximize supplier capacity to enable long term CMG growth, and hold accountable internal and external partners through superior KPI measurement are key components that ultimately aim to provide superior service to the restaurants.Continued development of full proof data accuracy, ownership, and traceability is of utmost importance.Also, will oversee and drive continuous improvement of Food Safety through the Traceability program to ensure elite FSQA tracking, monitoring, and execution. The qualities of this person serve to uplift Chipotle even further into a world class supply chain leader and is to be the centerpiece of unlocking technology capabilities of CMG Supply Chain.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop, administer, and manage the Traceability Program, processes, reporting, and tools to continuously improve traceability requirements and requirements adoption by every level of the supply chain

• Act as primary liaison with standards-setting entity GS1, and lead RFID compliance with external suppliers.

• Analyzes and recommends solutions that potentially save Chipotle in the millions of dollars of year through multi-echelon network optimization, warehouse placement, shipping methodologies, and location based planning. Creates simple and effective visual dashboards for end users to drive business reviews and demonstrate results/trends/impacts

• Responsibilities include interviewing, training, planning and delegating work to expert users in the process. Appraising performance, enabling employee growth, learning, and development of the supply chain are essential.

• Support business reporting and tech development through analyzing and developing user requirements, product testing and management, close communication with stakeholders, and KPI/reporting. Develops and owns technology roadmap for supply chain.

• Will select and drive implementation of network modeling tools to increase supply chain effectiveness, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Will establish processes, in concert with IT, to monitor supply chain background jobs and rules for addressing failures requiring support from various tech/BI teams

• Is the primary expert for all supply chain systems, keeping softwares current and designing test routines for regular upgrades.

• Works with any consultant teams for project management, integration into CMG business, systems, etc

• Responsible for product management, configuration, and maintenance of online supplier management platform

• Supplier optimization, development of procure to pay philosophies, supplier capacity management tool development and other upstream strategies to maximize capacity and minimize cost

• Supplier knowledge of master data management will fortify Chipotle's data integrity, housing, management, and accuracy.This will drive enhanced reporting capabilities and real time understanding of supply chain health, as well as proactive and advanced ability to respond to situations in advance of negative impacts.

• Supports and identifies continuous improvement opportunities to enable Logistics to provide ultimate levels of service to restaurants for food, packaging, and RFID capabilities.

• Travel as required to ensure external partner compliance.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university

• Master's degree in business, technology, supply chain management or related field, or equivalent experience preferred

• 8+ years of relevant work experience

• Experience with both business and tech integration required. Has worked with consultants, business, in-house IT development teams, and has presented to leadership. Has designed, implemented, and provided ongoing maintenance for various software solutions to support business functionalities. Experience in multi-faceted supply chains including Logistics, Planning, Procurement. Manufacturing a bonus. Has demonstrated delivering results, tools, and processes for end business users.

• 2-5 of supervisory experience

• PMP, CSCMP, APICS CPIM preferred

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP implementations, MDM and data warehouse solutions, SQL development.Deep connection to understanding supply chain businesses and methodologies, KPI metrics and their measurements, and ability to communicate in department specific terms.

• SmartSheets or project management/productivity tools, Oracle preferred

• Expert at speaking both IT and supply chain business languages, able to translate amongst functions.Relationship building, operating with a sense of urgency, master communicator of project status or break fix updates.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $214,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
