As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to provide timely and accurate financial information. You will be handling advanced accounting tasks including account reconciliation, data analysis, and financial forecasting. This role demands a strong background in accounting along with strong multitasking and communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data to create accurate financial reports periodically.

  • Reconciliation of accounts and maintenance of general ledger.

  • Assist with budget and financial forecasting processes.

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with financial accounting standards.

  • Conduct tax analysis and preparation of tax returns.

  • Develop and implement internal control processes.

  • Assist with external audit processes.

  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and special projects as required.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly adept with Excel.

  • Experience with various accounting software applications.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of certification.

  • Familiarity with GAAP and local, state, and federal financial regulations.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
