Project Description:

• This intern position will assist with Distribution Design tasks, including project management, GIS/mapping, visiting project sites for field work, billing, and other office tasks as needed. This position will work with the Company’s various IT programs, construction, and other departments to provide electric services/requests to our customers.

• Work with Distribution Design staff to support the project management process for customer requested work orders, from initial application to project completion.

Minimum Requirements:

• Enrolled in programs focused on Science, Technology, or Mathematics, such as computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, accounting, data science, drafting, gas design, electric design, project management (preferred), construction management (preferred), chemistry, biology, environmental studies, natural sciences, and similar.

• Must be a freshman and above.

• Must be able to commute to service centers listed (Newport, Saint Paul, White Bear Lake).

• Must have reliable transportation.

• Must be able to work full-time during the summer and part -time during the school year.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $17.00 to $27.20 per hour

This position is eligible for the following benefits: Pension, 401(k) plan, Paid time off (PTO), Holidays
