Bright Horizons Director, Product Management-Hybrid in Newton, Massachusetts

This role drives delivery of product roadmap to ensure provision of world-class products and services, ensuring business results of revenue growth, profitability, employee growth and retention, and client satisfaction. Enhance user experience and efficiency by developing ability to rapidly deliver enhancements and assess and deploy new solutions and services. Evaluates and resolves barriers related to business and technical feasibility, ensures design optimization, and supports troubleshooting of production issues. Develops and maintains a solid knowledge of the needs of customers, clients, competitors and the industry. Identifies potential new product opportunities, develops business cases and analyzes feasibility. Works cross-functionally across the enterprise to ensure alignment in design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy.

What you will be doing:

  • Takealeadershiproleindefiningtheproductvisionandstrategy

  • Identifyopportunitiestoimproveorenhancetheproduct-primarilyfocusingonopportunitiesthat create strategic advantage (ie. improved customer/user experience and increased revenue).

  • Prioritizerequirementsbasedonmarketneedstodeveloparobustproductbackloginsupportof overall product roadmap.

  • Maintainandcommunicatetheproductroadmap,includingscheduledenhancements,status,new opportunities, changes in priority, etc. to all stakeholders.

  • Conductfinancialanalysisanddevelopbusinesscasesas needed.

  • WorkwithQA,Development,PMO,Implementation,Training,SupportandMarketingtoexecute release activities.

  • Acquireadeepunderstandingofthebusinessandindustryandkeepabreastofcompetitive offerings

  • Developandexecuteeffectiveapproachesforgatheringfeedback,productandmarketresearch.

  • Provide support and coaching toProduct Managers to ensure thatproduct solutions are meeting enduserandbusinessrequirements,toensurethatworkispreparedforcollaborativeteamsina complete and timely manner and to ensure that product management tools and processes are effectively implemented and managed.

  • EnsurethatcriticalinformationandupdatesaresharedwithteamofProduct Managers.

  • EvaluateeffectivenessandreturnofenhancementsafterlaunchbasedonestablishedSLAsand success measures and propose adjustments as needed.

  • Collaborateacrosslinesofbusinesstomaximizeenhancementsforall products

This position is responsible for playing an active role in the further development of Bright Horizons products/services. This role is required and authorized to make autonomous business decisions but will consult with leadership as needed. The role will have direct input and responsibility into budgets for associated projects. The Director of Product Management will lead a team of one or more individuals.
