SAP BTS Supply Chain Architect (Planning and Execution) in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania

What youll do:

The BTS Supply Chain Architect (Planning and Execution) role will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAPs largest and most important customers. The responsibilities of this role include creating strategic and tactical roadmaps charting the deployment of digital solutions SAP offers while developing compelling business cases to help guide our customers strategic decision-making activities.

The BTS Supply Chain Architect (Planning and Execution) will provide comprehensive advice to our customers on long- and short-term opportunities for their key strategic imperatives and recommend innovations which anticipate the future direction of both business and IT stakeholders in the Supply Chain area (with particular focus on (long-, mid- and short-term Supply Chain Planning and Execution incl. areas like Inventory, Warehouse and Transportation Management).

Key Competencies:

  • Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers IT and business executives

  • Work effectively across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements to achieve business outcomes

  • Analyze key business and IT requirements in the Supply Chain area (with particular focus long-, mid- and short-term Supply Chain Planning and Execution incl. areas like Inventory, Warehouse and Transportation Management)

  • Develop strategic roadmaps for the Supply Chain area encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future state

  • Identify improvement potentials within the Supply Chain area (with particular focus on Supply Chain Planning and Execution)

  • Influence transition states toward joint business outcomes building on SAP solution value

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation - able to lead customer engagements at an executive level

  • Proven excellent knowledge in Supply Chain Planning and Execution processes and deep implementation knowledge in SAP ECC, S/4HANA and SAP solutions for Supply Chain (e.g. IBP, eSPP)

  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives

  • 5 years of SAP solution experience, 5 years consulting experience

  • 10 years of solution and/or architecture (business & IT) experience

  • MBA preferred

Compensation Range Transparency : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 150,400 - 335,900 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidateswill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process.
